Republic Day celebrations to start from Subash Chandra Bose’ delivery anniversary on January 23 | India News


NEW DELHI: Republic Day Celebrations will now start yearly from January 23 as an alternative of January 24, authorities sources mentioned on Saturday.
The change is being made to incorporate the delivery anniversary of Subash Chandra Bose, which the Modi government earlier began celebrating as Parakram Divas.
This can also be according to authorities’s deal with commemorating vital points of our historical past and tradition.
According to authorities sources, different such days which have turn into a yearly affair are August 14 – Partition Horrors Remembrance Day, October 31– Ekta Diva or National Unity Day (Birth anniversary of Sardar Patel), November 15 –Janjatiya Gaurav Divas (Bhagwan Birsa Munda’s birthday), November 26 – Constitution Day and December 26– Veer Baal Divas (tribute to 4 Sahibzadas).
