15 extra international locations recognise India’s vaccination certificates: MEA | India News


NEW DELHI: As many as fifteen extra international locations have recognised India’s Covid-19 vaccination certificate, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) knowledgeable late on Thursday.
“Mutual recognition of Covid-19 vaccination certificates continues! Fifteen extra recognitions for India’s vaccination certificates,” MEA Spokesperson Arindam Bagchi tweeted.

“Mutual recognition of Covid-19 vaccination certificates with India: Australia, Bangladesh, Belarus, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Mauritius, Mongolia, Nepal, Nicaragua, Palestine, Philippines, San Marino, Singapore, Switzerland, Turkey and Ukraine,” MEA mentioned in an announcement.
Earlier this month, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare had mentioned that just about 100 international locations have agreed to the Mutual Acceptance of vaccination certificates of India’s Covid vaccines and vaccination course of.
Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya had mentioned the Union Government is in communication with the remainder of the world in order that beneficiaries of the world’s largest Covid vaccination program will get accepted and acknowledged, thereby easing journey for training, enterprise and tourism functions.
The Union Health Ministry together with the MEA is in steady communication with all international locations for mutual recognition of vaccine certificates, and WHO and nationally accepted vaccines to facilitate hassle-free worldwide journey throughout international locations.
