Egypt detains feminine TikTok star after human trafficking conviction

Hossam, a Cairo University scholar who has about 900,000 followers on TikTok, was first arrested in April 2020 after posting a video inviting her feminine followers to hitch one other video-sharing platform, Likee, telling them that they may earn cash by broadcasting movies on it. Prosecutors later charged her with “violating household values and rules”.
